Enjoy watching talented kids and teens perform beautiful traditional ballroom dances, exciting latin dances, and upbeat swing dances LIVE...just like you've seen on TV! Exciting, fully costumed performances by couples and groups, plus The Ballroom Dance Company Junior, Junior Elite, and Youth Performance Teams!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Shows are open to the public. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime.
Music and choreography is 100% G-rated family friendly fun. Video cameras and photography are welcome.
YOUTH SHOWCASE PERFORMER INFORMATION:
1) Couples interested in auditioning for this showcase must give showcase director Shawn Gardner their notice of intent to audition by May 1, 2012.
2) Couples provide their own professionally edited music, if they choose a piece not already edited in our music directory.
3) Couples provide their own costumes. Ask your instructor for suggestions in advance. Unlike the adult showcase, professional costumes are not required for youth showcase performers.
4) Both music and costuming must be pre-approved by Shawn Gardner by May 16th. Obtain costume and music approval before investing time and money into your showpiece.
SHOWCASE PREPARATION:
Youth showcase preparation classes are offered as an inexpensive means to receive supervised practice with sound and professional feedback on your show number. Drop-ins are welcome. Instructor’s time is divided evenly among the amount of dancers at each practice. Check the calendar for class times coming soon or email Shawn@theballroomdancecompany.com for more info.
Our state of the art grand ballroom is located at 8900 SW Commercial Street in Tigard, conveniently next door to the Public Transit Center.
