What do we do in class?

Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! Our goal is simple: we want you to want to work out, to love working out, and get hooked. Zumba participants achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing movements meant to engage and captivate for life! Routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body, and burn fat. Add some latin flavor into the mix, and you've got Zumba!

Pound combines easy to follow cardio moves with strength training and drumming. Your instructor provides "Ripstix" -- shorter in length & lighter than 'average' drumsticks, designed to maximize your workout and channel your inner rock star!

What do I wear?

Marsha Ensminger

Marsha grew up in a small Midwestern town that didn't offer much in the way of dance, although she has been drawn to all forms of music since a small child. It wasn't until Marsha moved to Oregon 13 years ago that she found her love for dance. She began her Zumba fitness journey about 3 years ago, and has been in love with it ever since! As a stay-at-home mom of two, Zumba was, and still is Marsha’s way of rejuvenating her soul. She loves how Zumba fitness brings everyone together. Whether you're an experienced dancer, or someone trying it for the first time, Zumba is for everyone!!

Michelle Mason

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Michelle knew early-on she was born to dance. From a young age she took jazz and ballet classes. Michelle went on to attend Pacific University, where she combined her passion for dance and love of sports by joining their cheerleading squad. For the next several years, Michelle took multiple fitness classes. In 2012 friend brought her to her first "Zumba" class -- and she knew she found her calling! She decided to start teaching and do what she loves to do, and became a certified Zumba instructor in 2016. While not teaching Zumba, she is dancing with her two boys at home. Zumba allows Michelle to "let go" and enjoy the rhythm. She loves to inspire people, move, smile and have fun. Michelle warmly invites you to try out Zumba class with her this week. "Zumba is a party workout! Come party with me!"

Ana Ovalle-Barry

Ana got hooked on Zumba Fitness when she moved to Oregon, and finds it to be an ideal way to share her passion for music, dance and love. Ana is an AFAA certified instructor, licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold, Aqua Zumba and Zumbatomic. If you are looking for a high energy class with an instructor who sweats hand-in-hand with you, come to her party and you'll get fit while feeling the beat and having fun.

Jennifer Sapienza

Jennifer Sapienza grew up mostly in Germany and before she tried Zumba, was extremely self-conscious. She had heart surgery in December 2011. After surviving this major operation she decided to embrace life to it’s fullest and leaver her shy self behind. In this spirit she joined her first Zumba class. According to Jennifer, “Why do I love Zumba? The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me in some high and jumping fun, you'll see what I mean! You don't have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It's easy! Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast! I look forward to meeting you!”
